Cleaning Fee:
A cleaning fee is included with your reservation. This fee covers the normal house cleaning (e.g. wash sheets, towels and bedding, clean bathrooms & kitchen, mop and vacuum floor) to make the cabin look exactly as it did upon arrival. We understand this may be your vacation and do not want you spending your time cleaning. No need to do dishes, load laundry, etc. during the mad dash to pack. We’d rather you relax and enjoy your stay. We just ask you be respectful and pick up after yourself. Cleaners will notify us of any additional cost not covered by the original cleaning fee due to excessive trash, damage, mess, etc. Any additional fees are the guest’s responsibility and will be deducted from your security deposit.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
There is nothing more important to us at than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We’ve enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

The video footage is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in or injury, and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in guests being asked to leave immediately. Violation of this policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit without any refund for unused days.
MOUNTAIN AREA DISCLOSURE:
Forest fires are known to threaten the region. Controlled or natural fires can create smoke and in extreme cases evacuation. Wild animals, most notably, coyotes and bears are present. Appropriate action must be taken to avoid animal problems. Although preventative deterrent action is taken by the owner of the property, rodents (most notably squirrels, chipmunks, and mice) and insects (most notably flies, ants, wasps, and bees) may be present inside and outside of the property. Continuous mitigation of rodents and insects is often necessary and may include spraying, trapping, and other pest control activities. Should a pest problem arise, no refunds will be given until adequate opportunities to bring resolution to the problem have occurred. Pest issues are not grounds for refund. We of course will send out someone immediately if there are any serious issues with pests at the property.

The mountain region can be subject to extreme weather conditions. Harsh winter storms are common and may result in difficult if not impossible travel, power outages and other service disruptions. No refunds will be given for the inability to get to or from the property as a result of storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Drivers are required to carry tire chains in their car during the winter months (Oct – Apr). In some instances, USE OF TIRE CHAINS WILL BE REQUIRED by local law enforcement to get up the mountain, including 4-wheel drive vehicles. Please obtain appropriate chains for your vehicle and know how to use them. We recommend buying them before your trip (as it is can cheaper).
No refunds will be issued as a result of road closures, poor road conditions or inclimate weather conditions.
SNOW REMOVAL:
We use a snow removal service to clear pathways prior to your arrival. Please note that snowfall can continue to accumulate between shoveling service and your arrival. We will try to clear the snow prior to your arrival, however in case of stormy winter conditions our snow remover might not start working until after the storm has cleared. In that case you may need to clear your own path onto the drive way. Shovels and de-icing salt will be available for your use if necessary. Shoveling service is not provided mid-stay, however, if additional shoveling is necessary, please contact us and we will arrange for additional service.
Please be aware, when the city plows the street, every driveway will have a berm from the snow plow. If there is a berm blocking the driveway, you may need to clear your own path during your stay.
Please be patient as the snow removal services work to clear both county roads and driveways.
Due to heavy snow accumulation in the area, decks are not cleared and only pathway access is maintained.
